The mechanism of action of FMS is based on the interaction between a high-intensity pulsed magnetic field and the human body.

When the electromagnetic field is applied, it induces electrical currents in conductive tissues.

These currents change the electrical charge across neuronal membranes, which leads to depolarization.

Once the membrane voltage reaches a critical threshold, a neurophysiological reaction called an action potential is triggered and the signal is conducted along the neuron.

Which FMS system is right for my practice?
FMS is available in three configurations: FMS Care with up to 4 channels, FMS Stym with 2 channels and FMS Uno with 1 channel. The right system depends on your clinical applications, treatment volume and the level of flexibility you need. FMS Care also supports the FMS Chair for pelvic floor rehabilitation.
Can treatment parameters be customized?
Yes. FMS systems include extensive libraries of preset clinical programmes while also allowing clinicians to adjust parameters such as frequency, intensity and waveform according to the patient and therapeutic objective.
Does FMS require consumables or downtime between sessions?
No. FMS requires no recurring consumables, and its air-cooling system is designed to support continuous clinical operation without cooling downtime between treatments.
Is FMS clinically proven?
Yes. FMS is a clinically established technology supported by scientific evidence and years of continuous use in physiotherapy practice. The systems are developed and manufactured in Europe and designed for intensive everyday clinical use.
